Pease Greeters,
I wanted to reach out and give you my sincere thanks from the 1-18th CAV. In July of this year we deployed to Jordan and our last stop in the United States was my home state of NH. As we boarded the plane they told us we were stopping in Portsmouth.
I couldn't stop smiling the entire time as we made our way to the granite state; It felt like I was the only one that knew a big surprise was coming. Back when I was a Boy Scout in Exeter, we helped out with the Pease Greeters. It was a powerful, rewarding volunteer experience as a kid. It was so incredible to see the incredible outpouring of care and support you showed us.
Since we have been in country, we have received 2 packages from you that were immediately shared between all of our soldiers. I've attached a few photos. I just wanted to reach out and thank you all.

I just wanted to thank you all so much for what you do. My husband, CPT George Mosby, came through Portsmouth on his way to Afghanistan on Friday night, Oct. 15th.
He said there were about 100 or more people there to greet the soldiers and it was after midnight. I had no idea there was an organization like yours until he told me you had been there and gave me your website address.
I can't tell you how thankful I am to you that my husband and the other soldiers were sent off with love on the next leg of this difficult journey. He said he met a couple from Iowa (where we live) and a little boy asked him to sign his hat.
I just wanted you all to know how thankful I am, and how much it touched me that you don't let soldiers go off to war feeling forgotten, even if it is a late-night flight. God bless you all.

Good Morning!
I just wanted to reach out to you and tell you all how much you are appreciated. We came in Yesterday Oct 23rd 2018 to your Terminal and were greeted with fresh coffee and doughnuts and a lot of smiles and hand shakes. I don’t know where to begin thanking you, it meant so much to me and I’m sure the rest of us. We were all tired and winded and it felt like my soul was almost gone, but when we walked in from the plane and were greeted with a warm smile and a sincere handshake I started to feel warm and alive again, then we walked around a corner and the smell of fresh coffee and seeing the donuts and cookies and chocolate and more warm smiling faces made it 10x better. Everyone in your group is a sincere gift from God, everyone of you are a blessing and a hope to this nation. The program you gave us was sincere and not just made up, you can always tell a difference and it felt true from the heart. Again I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart a sincere thank you and I love you all, you make this world a better place. You make me want to be better and care for people like you all did. Thank you again and if your ever in South Carolina I would love to take care of you like you took care of us. Much love and appreciation-also thank you each and everyone for your service, be blessed!
Sincerely, SSgt William Harris
